Congratulations to Gio Chinchar on receiving the Outstanding Humanitarian Service  award at the 2012 Governor's Initiative for Volunteer Excellence (GIVE) Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 16, 2012.  These awards are given in recognition of outstanding volunteer achievements.  Gio  writes grants for MFN on a volunteer basis and helps with other fundraising efforts, especially in the fall months. 

Congratulations to the Tippah County Good Samaritan Center for receiving the Outstanding Achievement by a Faith-Based Organization award at the 2012 Governor's Initiative for Volunteer Excellence (GIVE) Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 16, 2012. 

 

 FOOD FOR FAMILIES LUNCHEON: SUCCESS!

 16 WAPT's 20th Annual Food for Families Luncheon was a success! Over the years it has become quite a competitive event between the schools to see who will be going home with the traveling trophy! This year we want to congratulate Pearl High School (1st Place Winner),Madison Central (2nd Place Winner), and Brandon High School (3rd Place Winner)! Great job to all of the schools who participated and we can't wait to do it again!
