Donate Time

Volunteers are vital to the success of the Mississippi Food Network and several opportunities exist for people who want to help.  Currently we need volunteers to help our Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) boxes each month. 

August CSFP dates are August 11 and 12, 2010

Two shifts each day:  9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

 

And, don't forget our "Volunteer Saturdays" on the second Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.  Volunteer Saturdays dates are:

August 14

September 11

October 9

November 13

December 11

Please remember to wear appropriate clothing for a warehouse setting with limited heat in the winter and no air conditioning in the summer.  We ask you wear closed toe shoes and suggest you layer your clothes, especially during the cold months.
