Donate Time

Volunteers are vital to the success of the Mississippi Food Network and several opportunities exist for people who want to help.  Currently we need volunteers to help our Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) boxes each month. 

CSFP dates are March 10 and 11, 2010.

Two shifts each day:  9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

This year we will be having "Volunteer Saturdays" on the second Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.  Volunteer Saturdays will be held on March 13, April 10, May 8, June 12, July 10, August 14, September 11, October 9, November 13 and December 11.

If you would like to volunteer or need additional information, contact Marilyn Blackledge at mblackledge@msfoodnet.org or 601-973-7086.  Please remember to wear appropriate clothing for a warehouse setting with limited heat in the winter.  We ask you wear closed toe shoes and suggest you layer your clothes during the cold months.
